Davis Anum
Davis was born and raised in Ghana, He earned his B.S. in Laboratory Technology from University of Cape Coast, a master's in Chemistry from Ball State University where he studied Fluorescent chiral ionic liquid based on L-tryptophan as a chiral solvent and selector for enantiomeric recognition. Currently he is developing Hydrogels for Mitochondrial Transplantation in spinal cord injury treatment. He likes to watch and play soccer during his free time. |
Md Abu Monsur Dinar
Dinar, originally from Bangladesh, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from BGC Trust University and a Master’s in Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology from East West University, where he focused on phytochemical analysis and the pharmacological evaluation of natural products. Before beginning his graduate studies, he worked in the analytical chemistry division (Drug Development and Stability) at Square Pharmaceuticals PLC and Novartis. His current research explores zinc's multifaceted role in the structural packaging of DNA within sperm, aiming to advance our understanding of reproductive biology. When not in the lab, Dinar enjoys soccer, traveling, and reading novels. He also appreciates the lively, impromptu discussions with his PI, covering topics from socio-economics and global politics to culture - a part of his grad school experience he’ll truly miss after graduation.
